Our Programs

The Gulfton Citizens Advisory Council (GCAC) develops programs that address the most pressing needs of our community — from safety and crisis recovery to youth empowerment and education. Each initiative is designed to strengthen the bond between residents and law enforcement while providing practical support for families in need.

Youth Outreach

Our Youth Outreach Program offers mentorship, leadership development, and positive enrichment activities designed to inspire confidence and opportunity among Gulfton’s young people.

Domestic Violence Resettlement (DVR)

The DVR Program provides emergency assistance, counseling, and long-term resettlement support to help survivors of domestic violence achieve safety, stability, and independence.

Crime Prevention

The Crime Prevention Program works hand-in-hand with law enforcement, schools, and residents to educate the community, promote safety awareness, and prevent violence before it occurs.
